Many young people are not really into the whole weekend planning thing. At the same time, many of them feel like someone should teach them how to be an adult. Even if you don’t like making arrangements beforehand, a short checklist with weekend ideas won’t go amiss. At the very least, it will make life easier.

Take Care of Your Laundry.

Yes, this is not the most fun thing to do, but imagine week starting and you having piles of clean, fresh, nice smelling clothes. Isn’t it just the greatest? As a bonus, you can also wash your bed linen. This way when you go to bed, you’ll have extra wonderful dreams.

Choose Your Outfit Beforehand.

If you’re anything like me, you spend at least five minutes every morning in front of a mirror trying to choose what to wear. You’re probably still half-asleep and in hurry to get out of the house. Why not make life easier for yourself? Pick several cute looks, so you’ll have something to choose from. It’s helpful and it’s fun!

Do Some Meal Prep for Week Starting.

With the week starting you probably won’t have a lot of time to cook, so spend an hour or two setting up the ingredients necessary for delicious, healthy meals. You can do a little pickling, boil eggs, prepare meat. All this will allow you to spend less money on take-outs and enjoy your food more.

Get Rid of the Trash.

When asking yourself “what should I do this weekend”, emptying the trash is probably pretty low on the list of answers, but this is something small that can become annoying in the long run. Just set up a time and do it, so you won’t have to think about it.

Clean up.

Tidying up is an essential part of any weekend planning. Wipe your counters, put things back where they belong, wash the dishes. It will probably take you less than twenty minutes, but the effect can be tremendous. If you want your home to be inviting, this is something to do regularly.

And whatever else you do, don’t forget to relax and unwind!
